What intention should be made when performing Janazah Salah?

وفي صلاة الجنازة ينوي الصلاة لِلّٰه تعالى والدعاء للميت
[Al-Bināyah: 2:161: Dār al-Fikr]

(قَوْلُهُ: وَلِلْجِنَازَةِ يَنْوِي الصَّلَاةَ لِلَّهِ وَالدُّعَاءَ لِلْمَيِّتِ) لِأَنَّهُ الْوَاجِبُ عَلَيْهِ فَيَجِبُ تَعْيِينُهُ وَإِخْلَاصُهُ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى فَلَا يَنْوِي الدُّعَاءَ لِلْمَيِّتِ فَقَطْ نَظَرًا إلَى أَنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِصَلَاةٍ حَقِيقَةً فَإِنَّ مُطْلَقَ الدُّعَاءِ لَا يَحْتَاجُ إلَى نِيَّةٍ

بلکہ یہ بعد کے لوگوں کے اپنی طرف سے بنائے ہوئے الفاظ ہیں، اس لئے نماز جنازہ میں اتنی نیت کر لینا کافی ہے، کہ میں اس امام کے پیچھے اس میت کی دعاء کیلئے نماز جنازہ پڑھتا ہوں ، اور یہ بھی کہنا زبان سے ثابت نہیں ہے، بلکہ صرف دل و دماغ میں سوچ لینا کافی ہے
