Reciting the Qur’an during Adhan
Question(s):
If someone is reciting Qur’ān and he hears the Adhān, should he continue reciting or stop to respond to the Adhān?
Answer(s):
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If the Adhān has started & one is reciting Qur’ān, it is preferable to pause one’s recitation and respond to the Adhān, since one can continue recitation after the Adhān. [1][2]
