Is my phone impure if it fell in impure water and is my prayer valid with it?
QUESTION:
ASSALAM ALAIKUM W…
Question is regards to purifying from liquid impurity: My iPhone had slipped out of pocket and fell in impure water. I quickly dried it up. IS IT IMPURE OR IS IT PURE? I did not wash it as it is not water resistant or waterproof. This is an expensive phone and thus I do not want destroy it. Now, are my prayers are VALID or NOT if I pray while the iPhone is in my pocket? Is there any possible out of this issue? Jazakumullah Kahir
ANSWER:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If there remains no traces of impurity on the phone, then it will be pure [1] and thus, the prayers will be valid.

الجواب: لو ہے کی چیز اگر ناپاک ہو جاۓ تو اس کا دھوکر یا مٹی وغیرہ سے رگڑ کر پاک کرنا ضروری ہے
