Having a dream of wearing a Hijab and seeing the Masjid of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

QUESTION:

Salaam, I recently had a dream where I wore a green hijab and I was content wearing it but in reality I cannot wear one because I practise Islam without my family knowing. What does this dream mean? Before that I saw a masjid particularly and typically looking like the Masjid al haram of the Prophet PBUH. I have had dream of the Prophet PBUH himself several times before. I am a new muslim and dont have much guidance. I dont know if I should think about these dreams that much because they are really puzzling. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

ANSWER:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

To see the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a dream should be taken as a good omen. May Allah Ta’ālā make it a means of goodness and virtue for you. Āmeen.

As for the dream itself, it implies that you should consider marriage and, in general, strive to bring the Sunnah (teachings, etiquettes, manners) of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in your life.

And Allah Taālā Knows Best
